As a specialist school for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, there is a Local Authority procedure adhered to for the admission of new pupils. After relevant paperwork has been received by our school, school leaders including the SENCo will discuss the request for a place at Eslington Primary School. A visit will then be arranged for a member of our leadership team to observe the prospective pupil within their host school.
If Eslington feel that they can meet need, the child and their parents will be invited to Eslington Primary School to meet staff and see the facilities available. A start date will then be arranged.
The staff at Eslington Primary School support the inclusion of any child who has additional physical difficulties and/or sensory needs.
