Our school council members are selected every year through a democratic, completed by the children in each class. Each class has a representative that meets with the council team twice every half term. During these meetings, the School Council choose two charities to raise money for and ideas are shaped on which way monies will be raised.
School Council members also have the opportunity to discuss changes and improvements they would like to see around school, as well as voice any issues or concerns they may have.
The pupils create an Action Plan with a member of staff and next steps are addressed to ensure ideas are met. We have a Pupil Voice box, enabling all Eslington pupils to have a say on anything they feel is important or offer ideas. The council look at these entries every meeting to ensure all pupil voices across the school are heard and listened to.
