The majority of our pupils are eligible for Local Authority arranged transportation to and from school. In order to access home to school travel, you will need to complete a Home to School Travel application form. If you require support with completing the application form please contact Mrs Taplin, Pastoral Lead.
We liaise regularly with the Travel Care Team to organise arrangements, facilitate issues arising within transport contracts and offer training for taxi contractors (Driver and Passenger Assists) in SEMH and Neurodiversity. This training provides a greater understanding of the pupils needs enabling a smoother transition to and from school.
As part of Eslingtons package we provide transport for up to 12 of our pupils. Those pupils benefit from this provision as it provides a sense of security by enabling continuity with familiar staff being with them from the very outset of their school day. School and transport liaise to decide which children will greatly benefit from this provision.
